Top 4 Fourth of July Gifts

Now that summer is here, I can finally start to brag about the fact that I have been invited to an exclusive Fourth of July party in Malibu. I could not be more excited! Not only will I be in the same vicinity as LA's most glamorous, but I may also catch a glimpse of Jen and John strolling on the beach. Life is good! Now, what do I bring? I not only want to impress the host and wow the others guests, but I desperately want to score an invite for next year. As you can see, the pressure is on!

Good thing I'm gifted when it comes to gift giving (no pun intended) so I can focus my efforts on picking out my outfit rather than stress over the gift. I have narrowed down my search to the following four Fourth of July gifts , and I must say that this was not easy as Fourth of July gifts are often pretty lame. But, I have found some fabulous gifts that are definitely "Malibu worthy".

Black Hound 4th of July sampler, 4th of july cake

Black Hound 4th of July Sampler: Since I am obviously not going to bake my own cake, I have to buy one. The legendary Black Hound Cakes are my absolute favorite, so I am so excited that they ship (What? Did you think that this delicious cake was reserved only for a Hamptons' hostess?).

Sam Adams Beer Basket: I can't just bring any beer on the Fourth of July especially an Irish or other imported beer. So unpatriotic! That is why the Sam Adams Beer Basket containing 12 bottles of different flavor lagers is one of my top four Fourth of July gifts .

Patriotic Cupcakes: Enough with the Sprinkles (they were SO last year). The Dean & Deluca Patriotic Cupcakes are now "the" 4th of July cupcake to send. The Malibu host is sure to be impressed.

Good Fortune 4th of july cookies, 4th of july desserts

Good Fortune 4th of July cookies : I am hoping that if I decide on sending these cookies I will bring myself good luck in scoring an invite for next year. Not only are these cookies completely unique but they also are SO good.

Now that I have narrowed down my choices, I just need to remember to order soon. I CANNOT go to Malibu empty handed. So tacky!
