Caricature Art

Sometimes when it's your best friend, you just don't want to buy her something off her registry.  I mean don't you feel weird buying your BFF a soup bowl? I know it's what she wanted, but it's so impersonal!  So, I always try and do something a little different when buying an engagement gift.  My gifting criteria is to get the happy couple something that they don't have already and that they will BOTH enjoy.

One of my new favorite gifts, that I have JUST discovered is the Sweetheart Caricature from Photos ($65 for 11x14 canvas). It completely fits my gifting criteria.  Not only is it unique, but it is something that they can both enjoy together. Plus it's hilarious and will look terrific in their new home.  All I need to do is find a picture of the two of them and email it, and within days I will have the perfect engagement gift to give my best friend. Now I think this is much better than a bowl, don't you?
